The Brashear baseball team faced Atlanta in the 1st round of district play Friday. The Tigers were visitors on the scoreboard and quickly went to work scoring a pair of runs in the top of the 1st. Brashear bats stayed hot as they scored 4 more in the 2nd to take a 6-0 lead. Atlanta answered with 3 in the 3rd, 3 in the 5th, and 2 in the 6th while the Brashear bats fell silent giving Atlanta an 8-6 win. Jack Reeves had a double for Brashear, Cole Erwin had a single and 2 rbi's, Carson Erwin had a double and an rbi, John Higgins had a single and an rbi, and Lucas Keller had a single. Jack Reeves got the start, striking out 4 with Cole Erwin striking out 6 in relief.
